Make your own CD disco ball

It is tradition to have a mirrored ball at a disco party. If you are unable to buy or rent one, a CD disco ball is a good alternative. This is how you go about making your own CD disco ball:

1. Ask your friends to give you all their old CDs. Different colored CDs can make a really funky looking CD ball
2. From your local Styrofoam dealer obtain a Styrofoam ball. If you are unable to obtain a Styrofoam ball, any other ball or sphere will do
3. Attach a string to the ball so that you can hang it up
4. Cut up the old CDs into 1/2-inch or 1-centimeter squares
5. Glue CD squares to the outside of the ball
6. Hang up the CD covered ball above the disco floor
7. Shine lights onto the ball, ideally multicolored lights
8. All you need now is a disco party.
